are you the judge of that? maybe someone else has an opinion. you are tying everyones hands here. maybe someone has a similar situation. is it small comsetic change, an important mechanical aspect, is structural integrity affected... for example, on an oil filter sandwich adapter kit, i got the wrong size fitting to attach the adapter to the filter tree. yes, the fittings look "identical", all except for size. i got a new part from the vendor and still use them to date (great customer service), even though it cost me alot of time waiting, which could have delayed the finish of a swap. did i expect to get compensated for the time, no. i have also r&r'd items, and had to send items back for a tweak, but paid for all adjustments, as they were not the fault of a vendor or manufacturer.
